HC @ Fred Segal Sunset MADE IN LA Pop Up

We are so excited to have been invited by Jeff & Therese Lotman and the uber talented woodworking duo Ryan Silverman & Eileen O'Dea (who are curating the group of creatives) to be part of MADE In LA: a 10 week pop-up at the heart of Fred Segal Sunset (West Hollywood) from October 22, 2019 to December 31, 2019.

Some of the artisans included are The Wooden Palate, Denise Young Textiles, Milla Chocolates, Neptune Glass, (wh)ORE Haus Studios, Humble Ceramics and Big Red Sun.

First Installation Showcases Home Décor Handcrafted in Los Angeles and Curated by The Wooden Palate

LOS ANGELES, CA (OCTOBER 22, 2019) – Los Angeles based experiential retailer, Fred Segal Sunset today launches a series of pop-ups designed to showcase the work of designers and artisans who source and manufacture their products in Los Angeles. The new series reinforces Fred Segal Sunset’s commitment to celebrating the local creative community through cultivating homegrown talent. The installations will rotate and feature a range of products from different fields within the world of design.

The first installment in the Made in LA series is curated by husband and wife woodworking team Ryan Silverman and Eileen OʼDea of The Wooden Palate. The showcase features artisanal wood and metal tabletop work from The Wooden Palate and (Wh)ore Haus Studios, linen textiles by Denise Young, ceramics by Humble Ceramics, drink ware by Neptune Glassworks, plants by Big Red Sun and chocolate by Milla Chocolates.

·     The Wooden Palate - Creating luxurious, artistic tabletop and furniture from locally fallen and sustainably harvested trees, each handmade piece is obsessively tested and confidently offered.

·    Big Red Sun - Full-service landscape and garden design studio, plant nursery and lifestyle boutique that incorporates philosophy, architecture, field botany, welding, floral design and stone carving.

·      Milla Chocolates - Founded by award-winning Chocolatier, Christine Sull Sarioz, each hand-made chocolate is known for its visually striking geometry and high-quality ingredients.
