!!! CHEFS !!!!
If we don't have what you need in our stock room, orders can take anywhere from a few weeks up to 2 or 3 months
to fulfill
(depending on the size of the order, whether we have to make it from scratch or just glaze our bisque).

Our process takes time!

The latest batch is already reserved for Farmshop, General Store, and OK the store ... nonetheless, I'm always so excited when they are done ... just like pulling fresh cupcakes from the oven! More soon.

The future home of Humble Ceramics

Bring out the champagne!!!

Humble Ceramics is proud to say that today - January 28, 2014 - we've just signed a 5-year lease on a space South of downtown Los Angeles - just across USC.  HC is sharing the space with Nonato Ceramics and possibly a third party (you know who you are) will join us sometime in the future. There is a lot of work that needs to be done before we can even move in, and while a brand new 40-cubic foot shuttle gas kiln is currently being built by the one-and-only Mr Paul Geil, a lot of equipment still needs to be purchased and delivered ... and we'll let you imagine the rest. Moving forward!!! We hope to be operational by May/June of this year.

HC just stumbled upon an old picture of one of its multi-purpose vessels used at Farmshop ... one can never have too many containers!

HC featured on Remodelista!

Humble Ceramics was featured today January 14, 2014 on the exquisitely tasteful blog Remodelista (which I've been a fan of for yeeeeaaaaaarrrrs!) Thank you Izabella for the lovely quicky-peek into my world. You can read the full entry here.

If you are interested in purchasing work by Humble Ceramics, please take a look at the retailers on the left side of this blog (they each carry very different items).   If you live out of state, unfortunately, at this time I do not have the time to ship or take pictures of the inventory as it changes daily. I do not have a price list at this time either but all that will eventually change ... 2014 will be the year of a professional space and a brand new Cone 10 gas downdraft shuttle kiln and some working elves to come and help me grow! Imagine the potential!!!
